What/Where To Donate for Animals #CampFire

Here is a guide for organizations helping the animals and people affected by the Campfire. I have also listed the types of items they are looking for. Money is always appreciated at all the listed places.

Please let me know if I have missed a place so I can add it to the guide.

Butte Humane Society

With over 6400 homes destroyed by the Camp Fire, the upcoming weeks and months will be very challenging for those needing to rebuild their lives. Butte Humane Society is now accepting animal donations and has opened a Pet Food and Supply Pantry to help displaced pet owners as well as those who have taken in family and friends with pets. Donations can be made at our 1356 Longfellow Avenue (in the old Chico Beauty College building) every day from 9 am – 5 pm. The pantry will be available to anyone affected by the fire and in need of food and supplies for their pets during the same hours.

  • Cat Scratchers
  • Crates (all sizes),
  • Kongs & Nylabones,
  • Large harnesses – Freedom or Easy Walk are best
  • New blankets
