It can often be difficult to find someone to take care of your cat. Most cats prefer to stay home and you would rather not keep asking your friend to come feed them and take care of the litter box. This is the perfect time to rely on a cat sitting service.

What Does A Cat Sitter Do?

A cat sitter will come to your home and care for your cat there. They will come to take care of the cat as close to the same time you would care for your cat

  • clean the litter box
  • give them fresh food and water
  • give them lots of playtime or cuddle time
  • make sure they are okay while you are away
  • send pictures with updates at each visit

A cat sitter can also do things like turn on/off lights, take out the garbage bins and bring them back in, water some plants, bring in packages and make your home look lived it.

How Often Can a Cat Sitter Visit

We offer up to four visits a day or you can choose to have someone stay overnight with your cat. You can choose any combination above. If your cat likes a lot of love/playtime we can do daily visits with an overnight stay. If your cat is more independent we can do one visit. It will depend on your cat’s normal routine and personality.

What If My Cat Is Very Shy?

Shy cats tend to do much better in their own home. The less disruption in their lives the safer and more comfortable they will be.

A cat sitter will take the time to let your cat get to know them. If your cat doesn’t feel like being social we respect the cat’s wishes and will give them the space they need. We find that over time as the cat gets to know and trust their cat sitter they being to enjoy our visits together.

A good cat sitter will be reliable, honest, and trustworthy. They will love cats and will let you know if they see any changes in your cats health.

  • What is the companies backup plan if the cat sitter gets sick and can no longer take care of your cat?
  • Is this their full time job?
  • Are they insured?
  • How will they update you about your cat while you are away?
