Hello, Fantastic Facebook Friends! Now that my recent travels to be with family are over, I am turning my thoughts to the fabulous fundraiser for Chico Animal Shelter, Walk Woof Wag, that (then 8th grader) Bryce Velasco started over 11 years ago. Back in 2014, young Bryce asked for my help with creating an event to honor and help the shelter who saved and made possible the adoption of his dog, Jasmine. When Bryce asked for help, I said "Let's do it!" and now this event has raised over $100,000 for the shelter's medical fund. So SAVE THE DATE! The event is Saturday, October 19, 9-12 am at our beautiful Bidwell Park. Tshirt pickup is Friday, October 18 at The Canine Connection. But here's the thing....I, and our small planning team, can't do this alone...We need YOU to make 2024 a huge success!
